We're a small town with a rich history. But small towns aren't new around here. Neither are river towns, but there is something special about New Haven. It has the energy of a place just about to wake up. It's never hectic, but there is always something going on. It's a place where you can see a friendly faces you know, but has something new around every corner. It encourages you to spend some extra time to do something the right way. It's a place you can come and spend as much time as you want. We encourage you to discover New Haven, MO, whether for the first time or a repeat visit. New Haven always has something for you.
The City of New Haven is now accepting proposals for the old Public Works building on Miller Street. Check out this video by Tony Carosella for more details.
Register now for the fall Paint & Sip Event
A Paint & Sip event to raise money for next spring’s Miller’s Landing Day is set for 6:30 p.m. Friday, November 9, at the Historic New Haven School on Maupin.
The $35 cost includes canvas and all painting materials. Everyone is encouraged to bring their own snacks and wine or other beverages.
An area art teacher will provide step by step instructions as participants work on their individual paintings. No talent or art experience is required.
Participants will paint a winter scene with a little red barn, said event chairman Karen Schutzenhofer. “So tell your friends about it. It’s a fun event.”
You can pre-register for a space by emailing her at firstname.lastname@example.org. The $35 is payable in advance.
